Due to limitations in the current SS7/Object Manager (OBM) implementation, there is still need for certain SS7 legacy configurations even though the SGSN-MME is deployed as a standalone MME. This is recommended to be accomplished by having an M3UA dummy configuration

在MME中已经没有SS7，都是SCTP，但是为什么还要配M3UA的虚拟配置？
是版本不兼容？
还是是原因？

不是不兼容。是因为你们这个设备的实现局限。可能是SS7那边在管理底层link的时候，绕不开M3UA这一层，或者如果要绕开，在后端付出的软件成本太高，所以不弄。。
